Full Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your event date. Unless notified otherwise -
Cancellation Policy

More than 7 days before the event: A 50% refund of the total booking amount will be issued. This refund applies only to the booking fee and does not include add-ons (e.g., flowers, gift packages).

Within 7 days of the event: No refund will be issued.
- With non-refundable deposits, remaining payment is due no less than 7 days before the event date
- special events or craft picnic bookings are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

Date Changes
Non-weather-related date changes must be requested at least 14 days before the event and are subject to a $25 fee to cover administrative costs and potential changes in availability. -
Add-Ons
All add-ons (e.g., flowers, gift packages, additional services) are non-refundable once confirmed and paid for. -
No Show
If the client does not show up on the event day, no refund will be issued. -
Weather Considerations
A backup location is strongly recommended in case of unexpected weather conditions. We will not provide refunds due to weather, however we will work with clients to look for an alternative set-up option.
Additional Terms & Conditions
7. Responsibility for Location
Clients are responsible for securing the location and ensuring it is appropriately prepared for the event. This includes obtaining any required permits, permissions, and approvals for use of the space, as well as making sure the location is accessible on the day of the event. Island Impressions Events is not liable for any issues related to the location or its accessibility.
8. Damage and Loss of Property
Clients are responsible for all rented items, decor, and equipment during the event. If any items are damaged, lost, or not returned, the client will be billed accordingly for the cost of replacement or repair. This includes all décor, florals, furniture, and any other equipment provided for the picnic.
9. Liability and Safety
Island Impressions Events is not responsible for any injuries, allergic reactions, or accidents that occur during the event. Clients and their guests should exercise caution when using any picnic items, lawn games, or equipment provided. Clients are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees.
10. Time Delays
The event will begin at the agreed-upon time, and any delays caused by the client (e.g., arriving late to the location) will not result in an extension of the booked picnic time. The end time of the picnic will remain the same, and no partial refunds will be provided in the case of a shortened event duration.
11. Inclement Weather Adjustments
In the event of bad weather, it is the client’s responsibility to communicate with Island Impressions Events to explore options for rescheduling or transitioning the event to an indoor location. Clients are encouraged to have a backup plan in place in case of weather disruptions.
12. Behavior at the Event
Clients and their guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully during the event. Any disruptive behavior, damage to property, or failure to comply with the event space rules may result in the termination of the event without a refund. Clients are responsible for cleaning up any trash and disposing of it appropriately.
13. Dogs at the Picnic
Clients are welcome to bring their dogs to the picnic! If you would like to ensure your furry friend has an equally enjoyable experience, we offer a Dog Picnic Package that includes locally made pet treats. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their chosen location allows dogs, and dogs must be supervised at all times during the event. Island Impressions Events is not responsible for any incidents involving pets.
14. Photo & Social Media Usage
Island Impressions Events reserves the right to take photos during the event for marketing purposes. If clients prefer not to have their event photographed, they should notify us in advance.
15. Force Majeure
Island Impressions Events will not be held liable for any cancellations, delays, or changes to the event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, emergencies, government restrictions, or health crises.
